This is the oldest course in Thailand, steeped in history. It opened in 1924 and was designed by a Scottish railway engineer no less. It is situated right in the heart of Hua Hin, close to the town’s railway Station. Some of the caddies here had grand mothers who had been working there since it opened, and that experience has been passed down to their grandchildren. Rough hard fairways mean you need to be accurate especially at a couple of par 3 holes. Still attracting some top professional championships, Royal Hua Hin is a gem not to be missed.
